To make my maze, I first made a sketch of the whole thing. The only dimension I had to really worry about was making sure that all the channels were 5/16th of an inch. After that, I extruded all the parts that were not channels by 3/4 of an inch, then extruded the channels by a half inch. Once that was done, I was ready to put the part into Fusion and then the CNC router. However, unfortunately, we did not get enough time for either of those things.
After I was done making the part, we (as a class), watched a version of the part get set up in Fusion in order to get the correct settings for the CNC Mill. Unfortunately, there was not enough time for us to do this individually, but we learned how to do things such as change the cutting depth of the CNC Mill. *The part above is not our actual part*
What I Learned:
From this activity, I further improved my skills with Inventor as well as using how to use Fusion 360 for the first time. I also learned how the CNC Router paths and how to set up a file to be made with the CNC Router. Overall, I think I picked up quite a few new skills through this activity.
